Your memories of Spurs at home?

Many good (and bad) of playing our 'friends' from North London.
Lasagnagate is up there, as well as the 4-3 in 1997.
My first Spurs match was the 1-1 draw as featured in the 1985 Hooligan documentary. The Chicken Run got involved that day, but I didn't, as I was 13.

For me this is easy - Sunday 7th May 2006. My dad was admitted to hospital on the Thursday and I wasn't sure if I was going to make it. He was insistent that I went!!
What a day ensued... Met up with a load of Belfast Hammers at silly o'clock on the Sunday morning for the first time and still remember entering the Supporters Club when word came through that the game may be in doubt.
For the next hour or so there was a real fear that the game would be off and we were discussing how we may see the match if it was 24 hours later.... For me it was a no go!!
The game was superb, Yossis goal, the pre-Wembley celebrations etc etc.
Remember phoning my dad that night and he was so pleased I went and we got the result. Went straight from the airport to the hospital on the Monday and was pleased to see he was a good bit better.
Unfortunately he passed away, peacefully, on the Friday - the day before the Cup Final which, to this date, I haven't watched.
10 years later..... Could it be fate.

Having the sky camera point directly at me at the end of the 4-3 defeat the great escape season. Sitting on my own long after the game finished nearly in tears. Que people phoning me up laughing insensitive prices. Especially the geezer on here who calls himself The Joker he filmed it on his phone laughing with his boyfriend, calls himself a Hammer the swine.

Regarding that 1956 cup match, I worked at Woolworths, Chigwell, as a Saturday boy in the early 70's with John Dicks twin daughters.
They were dead ringers for him as well.

My biggest memory to this day involves getting in a big tear-up in Priory road when I was about fourteen, getting kicked in the face and my teeth ripping the inside of my mouth needing about 10 stitches inside and three outside.
Worst of all it was a West Ham chap that did it mistaking me for one of their lot. That really wound me up, he must have thought I had a very big nose. To be fair, once all the spurs had run away (again) and he had it explained to him he was most apologetic.
Actually scrap that, worst of all was tomato soup through a straw for two weeks.

The match where Gascoigne took the piss and went off injured was the flukey Mitchell Thomas goal one. More memorable for a massive punch up in the south end of the chicken run.

Two games stick out in my mind. Gascoigne in his pomp running things at UP and being the only difference between the two sides. Then two years ago when but for Bale we would have had a home win.

Also remember a 0-2 defeat late 80s early 90s whereby Mitchell Thomas scored a fluke deflected looped goal which still lives with me to this day.

2-1 home win back around early 90s and a couple of my mate we drove up with in the Spurs end were arrested which was nice.

6th November 1976, West Ham 5 TH 3
the reported crowd was 29K in fact it was closer to capacity, such was the cheating on the turnstiles back then.
At one point midway through the second half we were 5-0 up with Billy Jennings hitting the post to make it 6.
from there spuds brought on their new young hope, a certain glenda hoddle who promptly scored a quick fire hat trick
in that most bizarre of seasons in which we came so close to relegation this was a much needed win. It showed what a good team we could be yet in the same match we were awful
